VICTORVILLE, CA, May 18, 2009 – Prem Reddy, MD, FACC, FACP, Chairman of the Board for Prime Healthcare Services has been recognized as “The 50 Most Powerful Physician Executives in Healthcare” by Modern Physician and Modern Healthcare Magazines.
Dr. Reddy was ranked 19th among the other top 49 exceptional physician executives in the nation. “I am humbled by the recognition amongst the physician leaders of the nation,” said Dr. Reddy. “These individuals represent the forefront of the healthcare reform sweeping the nation today.” Dr. Reddy continued.
Modern Physician magazine and its sister publication, Modern Healthcare magazine, have co-sponsored for the past five years the 50 Most Powerful Physician Executives in Healthcare recognition program. The first round delivered over 4300 nominations. It began in early December and ended a month later in early January. The second round of voting took place in late January and ended in early March. There were nearly 28,000 votes cast. The top 50 physicians who received the most votes made the final list.
A celebratory event co-sponsored by AMDIS (Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems) will be held July 2009 during the 18th Annual Physician-Computer Connection Symposium hosted by AMDIS.
